What’s up Browns fans! The Browns finalized the hire of Jim Schwartz as the new defensive coordinator. The former Lions head coach turned the Eagles defense around when they won the Super Bowl against the Patriots. Schwartz was the first guy the Browns interviewed, and he was the top guy we wanted on this show. Brian Flores was a great candidate, but he’s entertaining offers to be a head coach again, so he probably fell out of consideration early on.
What sort of culture change and leadership role will Schwartz bring to the Browns on the defensive side of the ball? Will be finally be a gritty, nasty defense strong in physicality? The good news is, we can’t get any softer than we were under Joe Woods. Let’s go, Browns!
