What’s up, Browns fans! After months of analysis, anticipation and speculation, the NFL Draft has come to a close. The new members of the Cleveland Browns organization have been selected, so now we can finally talk about reality and realistic projections for this team in 2021. And let’s just say our initial reaction is one of pretty high excitement.
Since we just finished up our 4-hour live draft coverage on Thursday night, we wanted to sit down and discuss our initial reactions now that the full draft has taken place. We’ll tell you which picks we think the Browns nailed, and which ones left us scratching our heads. The Browns selected 8 players this past weekend, but will all 8 of them make the 53-man roster in 2021?
Also, we show you our live reactions during our coverage of the first round on Thursday. Initially, we weren’t overly excited (4 hours of waiting and speculating will do that to you), but after some reflection, drafting Greg Newsome looks like a great selection. Following that up with Jeremiah Owusu-Karomoah in the second round and Tommy Togiai in the fourth only solidifies General Manager Andrew Berry as a bonafide genius.
And no episode of The Dawgs Podcast is complete without our ritualistic Ravens bashing, and we explain very clearly why the two first-round picks made by Baltimore pose absolutely no concerns to Browns fans whatsoever.
