What’s up, Browns fans! It was the must-win of must-wins, the final play of the game, the entire season on the line, and David Njoku goes up with one hand and pulls down the game-tying touchdown catch. It was the perfect movie storyline, except this was real life and for once, the Browns pulled off a miracle.
Jacoby Brissett had a rough outing overall, but he led the offense to victory when we needed him the most. Nick Chubb overpowered the vaunted Bucs run defense, and the Browns defense–instead of quitting this week–stepped up and made big plays in big moments. Martin Emerson shut down Mike Evans, and Myles Garrett got to Tom Brady in the most pivotal moment.
So with the overtime win against the Bucs, the Browns season is still alive. And now Deshaun Watson returns, injecting new life and hope into what had been looking like another lost Cleveland Browns season. LET’S GO BROWNS!
