Week 5 Recap: Browns at Chargers

What’s up, Browns fans! The trip to Los Angeles was disappointing as the Browns set a brand new NFL record, though it was one we didn’t want. We are now the first team in NFL history to score 40+ points, gain 500+ yards and commit 0 turnovers…and lose the game.

But on the plus side, we saw a huge bounce-back performance from Baker Mayfield, who threw for over 300 yards and 2 scores. The running game once again showed it’s the best in the league. However, the defense regressed to its previously horrendous self. Justin Herbert carved us up and led the Chargers to a comeback win. And another terrible display of officiating only helped the Browns invent yet another way to lose a close game.
